DIWAN AZ-ZAKAT is an institution responsible for promoting the values of participation and solidarity among all residents of Djibouti. Its responsibility includes one of the basic pillars of our noble religion Az-zakat, the third pillar of Islam, and also considering it an act of generosity and a duty for those who are able to possess the required quorum and a right of the poor and needy. This blessed work aims to revive the ritual of zakat and achieve its social goals among Muslims. On the other hand, the orphan care program is considered one of the most important programs and basic activities of the Diwan. This program contributes to building a cohesive society by following the rules and provisions of Islam, which are based on mercy and solidarity, which God Almighty has enjoined upon His servants 2
